Singles often wonder how long they should wait before having sex with someone they just met. Sam Greenspan shares his advice on the subject as he joins sex therapist Jenna Couture and hosts Jennifer Tapiero and Josh Nasar on this episode of Planet Love Match Radio.
"I don't think there's any specific time frame," Sam says. "We are in a casual sex day and age where sometimes the right time frame is three hours, sometimes… it's months. I don't think that people are waiting that often anymore."
However, Josh disagrees with Sam, saying he thinks people should always wait three or four months at least.
"Do you think that sex can make your vision blurred and you won't see some possibly pretty dangerous things?" Josh asks. Jen doesn't seem to think so, but Sam replies, "I think that you run into more trouble if you start setting specific rules than if you play it by ear."
Jenna gives her personal opinion, saying, "Most guys that I date, I like to wait three months. It usually takes about three months to get to know someone."
