In this segment of Planet Love Match Radio, Jennifer Tapiero and Josh Nasar welcomed life coach and author of Stop Waiting For Permission! Steve Truitt to the show. Together, Jen, Josh and Steve sifted through the topic of body language and what some good and bad signs are when you’re on a date!

“It’s everything because…I think it’s 93 percent of all communication is non-verbal. That means 7 percent of your communication is verbal,” Steve explained. “Everything else is vibes, body language and pheromones, so you’re communicating a lot without even knowing it. It’s crucial. It’s 97 percent of the relationship. It will always betray what you’re thinking.”

Every action you make gives away something else about you. Whether it’s a loose handshake or an awkward hug followed by a pat on a back, you’re telling someone you’re not interested without ever even saying it. Steve did say that women give off way more body language than men do, so I’m not sure why guys find us so confusing! Whether it’s nudging him when he makes you laugh or twirling your hair, you’re sending him the message that you’re interested.

“Men and women know when they’re interested in each other. It’s there,” said Steve. “It’s just whether you want to talk about it or not and whether you want to admit it or not and then what level you want to take it to.”
