A lot of people seem to think that if you are unable to see a future with the person you’re dating you should bail out as soon as possible, but Chelsea said there’s nothing wrong with continuing to hang out and enjoy each other’s company under one condition: establish upfront expectations!

“It just depends on what you’re looking for,” she explained. “If it’s a newly divorced person, they’re not going to want to jump right back into marriage. It really kind of depends on the person and where they’ve been.” This is a great piece of advice because there are way too many people that drop whoever they are with as soon as the future gets a little blurry. If you’re having a good time and there is a mutual understanding of your relationship, there’s no need to cut things off.
