Are you an adrenaline junkie who lives for a good thrill? Are you dating a special guy or girl who feels the same way? Forget dinner and a movie! Here are four fun and daring date ideas for thrill seekers.
Visit an Amusement Park
If you and your partner live for thrills, then why not head to an amusement park? Many cities, both big and small, have an amusement park or two complete with towering roller coasters, looping water slides, and other heart-pounding thrill rides. May is a great time to visit your local park as the weather is generally mild and the hordes of tourists have yet to arrive. Wondering which coasters are the world’s best? Check out this list of roller coaster rankings.
Bungee Jumping
If roller coasters are too main stream for you, why not give bungee jumping a try? While coasters are fun, they’re arguably less thrilling than leaping from a platform suspended hundreds of feet in the air. If you or your partner can’t commit to bungee jumping, consider trying an ejection seat, a super swing, or another specialty attraction. Many amusement parks, fairs, and midways offer such thrill-seeking rides.
Get Wet and Wild
Live near the water? Consider taking your date on a parasailing excursion. Few things can compare to drifting hundreds of feet above an ocean or lake with a special guy or girl by your side. Other thrilling water activities include, jet skiing, white water rafting, tubing, water skiing or even scuba diving. Many zoos and aquariums also offer “swim with the sharks” opportunities.
Skydiving
Looking for the ultimate thrill? Consider skydiving. Skydiving centers throughout the United States offer thrill seekers the chance to jump from a plane, either in tandem or solo. If you and a partner live for a big rush, few things will get your adrenaline racing like leaping from a plane and drifting down to earth.
Have fun and be safe!
