When you're the focus of a flirt fest you feel frisky. But how do you feel when your date acts super flirty towards other people? Jealous? Hurt? Turned on? Some people consider being too flirty a dating deal breaker.
Whether you notice a slight smile and wink at the waiter or a wholehearted hug and kiss to the cabbie, there are varying levels of flirting that you may be comfortable with. It's good to identify these scenarios with yourself ahead of time so you don't freak out while out on the town. Most of the time, the interactions you'll see are completely innocent so be careful not to become paranoid.
Some people are just inherently more flirtatious than others, so figure out if you have a Flirty McFlirtison on your hands and you'll know what type of behavior to expect. Even if you're prepared and know what's coming, it may still bother you. Rather than start a discussion right there at the party or the restaurant, it may be wise to wait until later when you're alone.
The important thing to remember is that your date is specifically spending time with you so you should be trying to have fun, rather than scrutinizing every smile or wink.
Have you experienced a date who was too flirty? How did you handle it?
