While there are a number of blunders that men can make that hinder their chances of finding someone, women make plenty of dating errors, as well. Are you guilty of any of the following dating mistakes that women make?

Talking about marriage or kids too soon. You want to make sure that you two are on the same page about subjects like marriage and family. But, bringing these things up on the first date can make it seem like you are moving too fast.

Narrowing it down to one too soon. When you are dating online, it’s best to keep your options open for a bit. Don’t focus on one guy before you know whether or not you will make a good match.

Complaining about your ex. Yes, this one made it to the guys’ list, but, it’s something women need to look out for, as well. 

Giving a bad boy too many chances. If someone is not treating you the way you deserve, break it off. There are plenty of guys out there that will respect and value you.

Staying because you’ve been together so long. This is related to the mistake above. Some women feel like they need to stay in a relationship because they’ve already invested so much time. You’re not getting those years back either way, so, it’s better to leave if the relationship is making you both unhappy.

Being too picky. It’s easy to get caught up in the list of superficial qualities that you want in a guy. Look past the prestige job and nice car, and determine what sort of character and personality will make you happy.

Not making the first move. Or the second, or the seventh. You wait for him to message you first, then ask you on a date, and then to be the first to send a text or make a call. When talking to men about what they want women to do differently on the dating scene, most will say that they wish women got out there and took more chances. Don’t always make him be the one putting himself out there. Take a risk and make the first move.
