However, this attitude is often a big mistake. If you’re normally a gruff and tough guy, surprise your significant other by saying something sweet one evening or expressing your feelings in a card or handwritten letter. Your lady will love it!

Help Out Around the House

If you’re married or living with a partner, try tackling a new household chore. If your wife or girlfriend normally does the dishes after dinner, do the washing yourself one evening. If your lady normally takes care of the laundry or vacuuming, volunteer for these tasks and invite her to relax on the couch. However, you don’t have to live with a lady to help out around the house.
