With the weather as warm as it is during the summer, date ideas can often revolve around what will be air-conditioned. However, if you’re getting bored of meeting people for ice cream or cold drinks or snow-cones, try out a bike ride for your next date. If you live near a body of water, this is especially perfect, but you don’t have to--bike ride dates can be as simple as riding around a new neighborhood or through a forest preserve.

We're in the thick of cold weather in many parts of the country, and while winter is said to be one of the most romantic seasons due to the snow, the cold and ice often ruin our best intentions of going on fun, creative dates with the ones we love. It's easy, if you're in a relationship, to get stuck staying in or going to movie after movie or visiting your same old spots to avoid having to venture out in the cold. In order to keep things a little interesting, you should consider trying a date that embraces the season and its frigid temps. Here are a few ideas.

New Year’s Eve is traditionally a night for big blow-out celebrations. Many bars and restaurants offer pricey all-inclusive celebrations. Winter’s cold weather is good for one thing: a chill in the air is the best excuse to cuddle up under the covers together. Looking for a cozy weekend date? Pick up any of our seven favorite Christmas movies. Some tend toward sappy, others are wicked fun. Make up a mix for some great holiday watching.
To add to the fun, serve up delicious hot cocktails like hot buttered rum, spiked hot chocolate, or Irish coffee.

I had no idea we were in the midst of an extended siege until Fox News told me that men and women are at war. But, yes, according to professional author and speaker Suzanne Venker, women have made men angry by getting jobs and going to college and stuff. Venker says that women are angry and resentful whether the realize it or not, and that men are “pissed off” by female professional accomplishment. The result is all-out war.
