When someone asks you what your number is, most often they're asking for your phone number. But sometimes, they're asking for a different one, one that's a lot more personal, and for a lot of people, on a need-to-know basis. When we ask this, we're expecting something from the person we're asking, and like it or not, we often feel differently about them after we get the answer, for better or for worse. It's unfair, a little superficial, and mostly pointless, but why is there a different standard for men and women? How many is too many partners?

However, scientists in Scotland have made a genetic discovery that could make non-hormonal, reversible male birth control possible.

June is Men's Health Month, when we focus on doing what we can to improve the health of the guys in our lives. Although the month is almost over, taking care of your health is something that you should do all year long. Study after study shows that men rarely seek out the preventative care that they need; in one men's health survey, men were three times as likely as women to skip annual physicals, and one-third of respondents did not even have a primary care physician. So, it's up to the ladies in their lives to see that they make those important appointments to keep themselves well. What sort of healthcare does your guy need? Find out after the jump.
